I was under the impression that he (or it) died in the third movie, so my question is would it be Eddie Brock who is Venom or would that black stuff crawl on another person and they would become Venom? Dirtydutch 9 Posted August 1, 2008 Share Posted August 1, 2008 Well, I imagine it would be the carnage story line, and I think it would be a profoundly terrible movie.When I was like 8, the Maximum Carnage books obliterated my crotch region, and even in current context I have no reason to believe they weren't at least cool for a mainstream-type thing, but you're right, 2 hours to take Brock from ordinary low-life to conflicted hero, develop Cassidy into everything he should be, and then have them fight for long enough to justify the $70 you just spent to take the kids -- it would require so many shortcuts and nuderitory rewrites that it would be a train wreck.
