Once he leads the river, we have enough information to know that putting in more action is spewing. If he checks the river, we get a bet in. It's the same as waiting to raise the river, but we lose an extra bet when/if he 3-bets us, and sometimes, we lose an extra bet when some random card we think is scary comes off, and we puss out and don't raise.
