Am I Putting In Too Much Here?

i dont know anything about the opponent, but in general, i keep putting in lots of bets on turns like this and they keep showing up with hands that beat me. I'm rusty with LHE, but I kind of like calling the turn then raising a safe river if I think he's pretty aggro or just calling if he's somewhat nitty.

hmmmm. i don't like that line.i probably play this hand the exact same.

wtf is a safe river? or more directly, which cards are actually scary for us?We cap the turn here, he can't 5-bet us. Once he leads the river, we have enough information to know that putting in more action is spewing. If he checks the river, we get a bet in. It's the same as waiting to raise the river, but we lose an extra bet when/if he 3-bets us, and sometimes, we lose an extra bet when some random card we think is scary comes off, and we puss out and don't raise.
