Rocketwadster 0
As indicated in a few of my more recent posts, I have not been having a good week so far at 0.50/1.00. So, I decided to play a few hands of $0.25/0.50 to get my mojo back.Using pokertracker, I picked a couple of tables to monitor for about ten minutes, then picked one that had the highest pre-flop VP$IP percentage (this one was at 38%). My third hand of the session:Ultimate Bet 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (8 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is MP2 with [5c], [6c]. 3 folds, SB completes, BB checks.I'll call with suited connectors in MP2, and I know I wont be the only person in the pot (thanks to Pokertracker)...Flop: (4 SB) [5d], [5s], [4d] (4 players)SB bets, CO calls, SB folds, BB calls.Hey, waddya know, I flop a set. Two diamonds out there, better try to get rid of a chaser if I can.Turn: (5.50 BB) [Ah] (3 players)BB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, BB calls.Great card for my set.River: (8.50 BB) [6d] (3 players)BB bets, Hero calls, CO calls.Wow, I caught the full. Lets raise this sucker up. Wow, CO3 must have chased a flush. What's this, BB caps that suckah? Can it possibly be?Final Pot: 20.50 BBResults in white below: BB has 7d 8d (straight flush, eight high). Hero has 5c 6c (full house, fives full of sixes). CO has Kd Td (flush, king high). Outcome: BB wins 20.50 BB. It is. He caught his one-outer to make the straight flush. Apparantly, I was a moron (according to the BB) for commenting that he hit a miracle.I don't even think this has been my worst bad beat this week, just the lastest in an seemingly everlasting string.
