A major misplay?
She had called a 5x raise preflop w/ AJ off. Irregardless of her hand, I should fold this preflop right?

A) I think given your pos folding is weak. I don't mind a call here and I think a raise is ok

cool.gif Is standard.

C) I'm raising pre. As played given stacks this is a call %1000 pf the time

D) As played pre you need to shut it down after your flop bet

E) Standard.

A) I fold too, no need to play it there.

cool.gif Yup.

C)Raise pre, and call a 3 bet that gives you set odds still. As played DEFINITELY call that raise.

D)Turn bets awful awful.

E)Yeah, maybe 30 chips too much, maybe not depending on table. It's all good.

A) I fold this. I think raising and playing properly postflop is +EV but pretty high variance without reads. You can save your 300 chips or whatever for 2 rounds of waiting for AA later.

cool.gif Now this is an easy raise. Them limping again means loose-donks. You probably get some really good value out of TP-like hands. 120 is fine.

C) Open raise and call a reraise if not too big (like up to 250). Set mining is great here and you're stacking any overpair or hit-AK if you hit.

D) Pot odds say see flop and reevaluate. Try to play pot control and use probing bets, but keep out of trouble.
Too tired to comment on postflop play.

E) I bet 150. I want callers here.

A) after reading your post flop play on hand D) I agree with your fold here considering you are not very strong post flop player.

cool.gif Standard

C) again i would raise and stay away from the open limping. It will +ev for you to take pots down pf and with c-bets.

D) Ugh. I don't mind the re-raise pf on the button with what rates to be the best hand. but 1) I would consider folding to the 4-bet pf and definitely shut down when the K hits.

E) Standard

I'd raise the first one also.

I would hate the turn but on the JJ hand on any card except an A. Unless he has a set or AK, hard for him to call that bet. Obv shut down on the river though.

I dont get this though. You re-raise preflop with JJ. But limp/fold 88???? Very weak fold.

A) With this position I am at least calling. Most likely I might even 4x it here to since a lot of limping is going on.
cool.gif Standard
C) If your going to play 88 from that position get the first raise in and then find out how strong you think the other players hands are from their reaction to your bet.
D) I definitely cbet this flop but I shut down on the turn and river for sure. Turn card is grossly bad especially if he was flush chasing Axc.
E) You vs limpers and blinds? I think you bet to much here. 150 is the mark I'd go for.
