Fcp Sunday Million Co-op?

As was widely reported, there was a private fcp tourney in vegas last month, where the winners gained entry to a WSOP event and the losers retained a small stake in those winners. This was a great idea not only because of the opportunity to play against such a soft field, but also because it was fun to have someone to root for in the WSOP event -- naturally this energy is what helped Zach to his temporary position as 11th best limit hold'em player in the world. Anyway, I was thinking -- why not do an online version of this? Like $10 buyin, with at least 20 entrants, winner take all and plays in the sunday million with losers getting a percentage of the spoils? 2% maybe so when this person wins we all get 3K? Maybe it's too difficult to implement, but just thought I'd throw the idea out there to see if there is any interest. If there was enough interest, I could do the organizing.

I hear you ted, but I think $10 may be better since it gives us a chance to pick up more people who aren't sat'ing in in other ways. Seems like there is already a good amount of interest, so everyone who wants to play please make your opinions known on the details - e.g. buyin size, percentage stake in the winner(s).Also -- anyone know will PS let us set up a tourney this way or will we have to deal with the prize pool ourselves?

LOL, Jonas is such an organizer. Ummmm.....I am guessing they will let you set up a private tourney as a sat if you email them. I don't see why not.

LOL. Well I just heard back from pokerstars support and sadly they won't set up special payout structures. The only way I can see of doing it then is this: I set up a minimum buyin (5.50) private tourney. The prize money paid out in this tourney will be irrelevant to our satellite. Anyone who wants to enter this tourney must transfer the money holder (me? bob?) the $10 satellite entry fee to get the password. Money holder transfers the winner(s) of the tourney their SM entry fee and distributes overlay accordingly. Then I guess we have to trust the winner to send everyone their percentage when they win.

That works too, though I think youre going to have to make it $20 to get close to the SM entryat least this week. Get 9 to play and its 180+4o private tourney profits. 2d and 3rd make a few pennies plus the 2% stake.

That's certainly an option. Although I was thinking of aiming to get this set up for next week, to take some time to gather up a field and get everything squared away - draw up some rules, etc.

It would have been nice for the double week, but w.e. I have an agreement I drew up for the FCP Vegas WSOP private if you want to see that. (Im still pissed I didnt make it to the tourney I started!)
