runningwild 0
hi everyone,Yesterday i have registered an account at cakepoker.com.I have given my real name, address (i live in Belgium) and have charged $50 on my visa card on a french bank account,i was living in France before and have kept with it.I transfered these 50 to a friend (US citizen). Then one hour later i discovered my deposit had been locked, couldn't use my cc anymore.I emailed spport@cakepoker.com:They asked for - Your credit/debit card that you used to fund your CakePoker account (front and back)- Your credit/debit card statement- A valid photo ID (example: Passport, Drivers License, etc...)I have provided them with the cc pic and id card pic but i couldn't send them a specific cc statement,my card is an immediate debit card and operations with it show up in the bank account statement.I sent them a bank statement with the amount of my account balance, positive.Reply from cake poker security:Can you please explain why you have a German email address, a mailing address in Luxembourg, a French ID card and a Belgian utility bill? Additionally, we will require a copy of a statement relating to the card - if it appears as part of your bank statement, you may block the account number and such details as balance, etc, while ensuring that your name and address are clearly visible. My reply:The mailing address is a free one which goes with my yahoo messenger,I have one from my belgian isp (p***@skynet.be) I don't use it that much.I live in Belgium,Luxembourg is not the country,it's the name of the province i'm living in.Before living in Belgium I was living in France, location of my bank account.I don't have any separate cc statement,it's an immediate debit card so the balance for it is the balance of my bank account.Since then my account has been locked,i can't log in anymore.Worst, they have locked my friend's account,he can't use transfer on my account to refund me or cash out to his bank to send me the money via another form (paypal..)he has written many emails to them and has been told to wait...8 hours ago...Help needed.Sorry if this is not the right forum, and too bad my first post here is about a complaint
FCP Bob 1,323
Pretty much every site is going to lock an account that has done the things that you did.Credit card fraud is rampant and your whole situation is way too shady for a site to allow you to do what you wanted.
