Summer league. Beasley vs. Rose. Advantage......Miami.Cant remember the exact totals but Beasley dominated Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah. 28 points total. 9th best summer league scoring day ever.Rose? eh....10pts on 3-8 shooting. Might take a bit longer for him to develop....starting to get very excited for the Wade-Beasley era.

Oh for sure Beasley will be better this year. Rose is a long term pick though.

I saw the flashes for Rose. He will be great by year 3 at the very latest. Probably sooner.I was giddy watching Beasley knock down 3s. I cant believe they wanted to trade this guy.And yeah, Chalmers was a total steal. Worst case scenario the superintendant is a really good backup for a long time. Worst case.

Assuming a healthy Wade, Miami will have a Celtic-like rebound from last year and compete for no. 2 in East.I bet my username on it.STEVE HOLT!

Yeah, definitely pretty sick they were able to get them both.

Most accounts say that Chalmers did a great job on the defensive end against Rose. I am feeling very confident that Miami got Rajon Rondo 2.0 (comes with a real jumpshot!).

What I read...

Quote

Chalmers, who hit the game-tying 3-pointer to force overtime in Kansas' national championship victory against Memphis, surprisingly dropped to the 34th pick in the draft after being projected by some as a mid-first-round selection. After scoring 11 points, tallying six assists, grabbing four steals and giving Rose fits with his ball-hawking defense, he admitted that he's playing with something to prove this week."I'm definitely trying to use that for motivation to push myself, but at the same time that's not something that I'm thinking about," Chalmers said of plummeting on draft night. "I'm just trying to show the Heat that I can run a team from the point guard position and earn a spot."

thank god Ricky Davis went to the Clippers. This way, Chalmers and Beasely will have to search harder for the pot that they will be smoking all season.
I make $31,000 dollars a year and I have a home.
