custom36 5
So, I just made a deposit at Stars. Damn, I forgot how tight this place can be. Anyway, here's the situtation...I'm big blind, MP2 is an assclown who has informed me that not only do I live in my mother's basement, but I'm also a horrible poker player. Could be an egotistical jerk, could be trying to get action, I'm not quite surePStars NL Hold'em Blinds 0.25/0.50MP2 has about $6.75Hero has about $5.25 (My 10-10 ran into queens on a low board a few hands ago)Hero is dealt 10-10Folded to MP2, MP2 goes all in. Folded to me. Despite his table talk, he's been really tight. This is a tough spot for me. Do you call?
looshle 6
First of all , I say "Where are my cards?!!?" After I get them, I say "I'm all in" and hope he folds.
custom36 5
Haha, I could have sworn I'd put my cards in there. *shrug* They're there now. And it's hard to push him out when he's all in.
DCWildcat 0
Might wanna look at your cards. Then probably fold.Edit: Sorry, you posted it as I was writing my response. I'd say at best you're against overcards. I'd say let it go, even though that's tough with the blinds that high.
NickTheKid 0
I'm calling here.
Petoria 0
if he's the assclown you claim he is, wait for a situation where you can outplay him. I hate the random all-in, it's probably AK, but you have a better than 50-50 shot of eliminating him in the long run. FOLD.
holman3rd 0
I'm calling here.Me too. He doesn't have an overpair...probably just 2 overcards. You're ahead and have the correct odds to call. Since this is a cash game, calling is long term EV+.However, I'd crap my pants if I got callers behind me. Nah...very unlikely, as they'd prolly need KK/AA to call there. DCWildcat 0
How do we know he doesn't have an overpair? The dude is very tight. We're either 50/50 at best, dominated at worst. That's not the way I like to bust.
SapphireTiger 0
it's a cash game. you call here. If it was a tournament. It's a fold.
custom36 5
I folded and he didn't show his cards. I felt there was a better place for me to bust him. Unfortunately, I didn't get any cards to play against him for the next 40 minutes and then had to go to class. Oh well.

That's not the way I like to bust.well, i shouldn't have said it like it was fact. imo, he probably does not have a big pair. why would he push all-in with AA/KK or QQ? that's a huge overbet to open a pot.and this is a call because this is a cash game.and if it were a tourney, it would depend.
