So, I just made a deposit at Stars. Damn, I forgot how tight this place can be. Anyway, here's the situtation...I'm big blind, MP2 is an assclown who has informed me that not only do I live in my mother's basement, but I'm also a horrible poker player. Haha, I could have sworn I'd put my cards in there. *shrug* They're there now. And it's hard to push him out when he's all in.

if he's the assclown you claim he is, wait for a situation where you can outplay him. I hate the random all-in, it's probably AK, but you have a better than 50-50 shot of eliminating him in the long run. FOLD.

Me too. He doesn't have an overpair...probably just 2 overcards.You're ahead and have the correct odds to call. Since this is a cash game, calling is long term EV+.However, I'd crap my pants if I got callers behind me. Nah...very unlikely, as they'd prolly need KK/AA to call there.

I folded and he didn't show his cards. I felt there was a better place for me to bust him. Unfortunately, I didn't get any cards to play against him for the next 40 minutes and then had to go to class. Oh well.

well, i shouldn't have said it like it was fact. imo, he probably does not have a big pair. why would he push all-in with AA/KK or QQ? that's a huge overbet to open a pot.and this is a call because this is a cash game.and if it were a tourney, it would depend.
