a-cap before the first draw, b-cap after the 2nd draw.
a - you do this to create fold equity right? would you do this with just about any hand you are playing here since you have position?b - this is just cuz he sucks, or any player? when i saw this i was thinking raise him and if he goes to three stay pat and call him down.

a- for value and since we have position, we can play perfectly on later draws.b- half for value, half for metagame. re: value--there are more 87 and worse 86 combos out there as pat hands (and 9s, loool) than there are hands we lose to (at least off the top of my head--i could be wrong), especially considering that there was a third guy involved for a while. re: metagame--prob not important during a donkament, but capping stuff like this in a fairly marginal spot either way allows you to get sooooooo much more value out of your #5s and 7s it's sick.
