A question for people who use online poker as a source of main income. How long did it take you intill you started making alot of money? And did any books help you fine tune your online experience?

Poker's quickly becoming my main source of income, though it's not there yet. I started playing 3 months ago. So far I've read...Super SystemHold'em Poker by Gary CarsonFCP Boards2+2 BoardsI'll soon be picking up Harrington on Hold'em (1 & 2) and Small Stakes Hold'em. If you plan on playing limit hold'em, pick up Small Stakes Hold'em FIRST. I'm getting it now to diversify my game because I'm mainly a No Limit player. For limit, SSHE will help you a ton.

To try and save you the $25, don't read the book"Killer Poker Online"...I can sum up the message from theentire book in one sentence. It basically tells you to "build and keep book on your opponents"as the best way to win money.(and it tells you that about 12,000 times....) Beyond that, the conceptsand strategies were pretty basic.Anyone have any other books that are any good forspecifically online play?

I completely agree with that statement. That was a huge waste of my time and money.I heard Super System 2 has an online poker section. I'll have it at the end of next week, but right now I don't know how good it is (or if it actually has that section). Other than that, I don't know of any good online poker books.

Cliffs Notes version of SS2's online poker section:Doyle's Room is good. You should play there. Doyle's Room offers the following features........blah blah blah......You see alot of hands in online poker. Nobody would've ever pictures this back in my day. You can play tournaments anytime.......Oh, and Doyle's Room is good. Seriously. You should play there. Here are some pictures........Thats all it is. SS2-Great book. Several trees would've been saved, however, if they had left out the online poker section.

Haha. Brilliant!
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

I think the best tips on how to earn income from playing poker online could be recieved from these people who really get these income. Unfortunately, they keep hiding all the time.I am speaking about some kind of Player X whose income reports can be read every week.
