auschaff 0
So I put $200 on full tilt, been playin $5 SNG and some MTTs here and there, nothing over $10 though. Anyways, I just won a double shootout satellite tourney into their $750k guarantee ($200+16). Obviously, I never play at these stakes. I was wondering what type of differences I can expect to see? Are there still some marginal players? Or is everybody a great player?
tskillz187 0
LOL. No not everyone is a great player. There will be some solid players but a lot of poor players as well. Basically play your normal game and realize people aren't going to get knocked out as quickly as in the smaller buyins, but you'll have a better structure. Play your game and good luck. Sheiky 0
I would advise you don't play the tournament and use the T dollars instead.
pokerinc 0
I would advise you don't play the tournament and use the T dollars instead.pfft...nit. you're so the grasshopper.Be the ant mang.if for any other reason once you see that the play isn't shockingly different you'll gain a lot of confidence that you belong playing poker when you go back to the grind.Experience it this time. Maybe next time if you need the cash don't do it.Wait wait, is it the ant or the grasshopper that kicks it instead of saving for winter?Dam fables and their tricky allegories.Ah well. Be the cool one.

auschaff 0
Yeah they just added them recently: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/newClientFeatures.php So I decided to just play the tourney, got out 780th (it started w/ almost 3600, top 522 get paid) on one of the sickest beats ive taken. I get all in w/ QQ on a 445 rainbow flop, get called by 77, and of course the turn comes 7. I might have just lost $200, but I just proved to myself that I can play with anybody on Full Tilt. I appreciate the advice

Kaveros 0
If you still feel you are outmatched then dont move up.however their isnt much of a difference between those limits. You will see a lot more donks open shove 50 bbs in $5's but overall the play isnt all that different.
