Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is CO with [6c], [Jc]. Hero posts a blind of $0.5. UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, BB checks.Flop: (5.50 SB) [Qs], [9c], [Tc] (5 players)BB checks, UTG bets, BB folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.Turn: (6.75 BB) [9s] (4 players)UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 folds.River: (9.75 BB) [4s] (3 players)UTG checks, MP2 bets, Hero folds, UTG calls.Final Pot: 11.75 BBI flop a straight draw and a flush draw so I raise it for value. Then I'm bet into on the turn - was the call all right? Could I have raised there, too? (I was a little wary of being three-bet back) I also wanted to see if the others in the pot would come along for the ride - I figured a raise would shut them out.

I think you played this fine (although wrto, Kdawg etc. might tell me I'm totally off base. Raise the flop is good... Calling the turn is good.Raising the turn would have been a bad move for a number of reasons. 1) Generally you do want a lot of callers when you're on the come. It's often times a good move to raise when you have a nutz straight draw or a made straight against a drawing flush. If you had K-J clubs here, obviously you should be pushing that hand super hard. The last thing you want is someone with the Ax of clubs redrawing against you.2) But, here you have neither the nut straight draw (someone could have K-J or be drawing with A-J)... Nor the nut flush draw. Therefore while you may think you have a very strong drawing hand, many of your outs could make the nutz for another player in this situation (ie with a number of callers). 3) A raise may be able to push out the A-J gutshot straight draw that could have you beat if it's made, but you won't likely be able to push out the nut flush draw nor a better made straight, so I don't really think it's worth the raise on the turn. Just my two cents.

Well put. No real advantage to raising here.
