Ok, the following hand came up and I want to see what everyone thinks.$20 s and g blinds at 20-40 8 people leftStack currently at 1400.1 limper in front of me, im in MP, and get QhQd. I raise up to 180. BB calls as does limper. All 3 of us have very similar size stacks.flop comes 10h 6h 2h. BB check, MP check, I bet 450 leaving me with 770.BB folds, and MP check raises me all-in. I have no read on this guy whatsoever. Here was my reasoning. What am I beating here? Not very much. Against Axhearts im basically drawing dead. Considering he limped preflop before I raised this is a strong possibility. Against a set I am about 32% to win. Would he have played a set this way? Wouldnt he have just fired out into this scary board with his set? He could just have the ace of hearts, but even then I am not a large favorite. Then there is the possibly of something like King of hearts with a 10. Also, you cannot rule out a hand like J9h. I wasnt sure what to put him on.Either way I still had 770 left and the blinds were only at 20-40; still giving me some room to play. Now, there is 1780 in the pot and it is costing me 770 to call. Im getting 2.3/1 on my call. I folded because I felt he had flopped the nut flush. What does everyone feel is the correct play here? He did show me what he had, but I want to get everyones opinion first.

Definately a fold here. You have basically the same amount of chips as the all-in guy, he has no fear that you are beat right now, so most likely the nut-flush. With that flop, I don't like the amount you bet, as you may be leaving way to much of your money on the table if you do get raised all-in and decide to fold.

Kinda looks like a semi bluff to me. He's probably got 1 heart in his hand and figures he has outs if you call. The check by him is a terrible play if he does have a set since he would be giving a free flush card if you checked behind him.I would strongly consider trapping if I were him if he had the nut flush. Why would he want to blow both you and the blind out of the hand if he's got the nuts? I'd let another card fall and hope it made someone elses smaller flush.K J or K 10 hearts seems like a reasonable hand to put him on as he does want to win the hand right away if that's what he has. Although it's a terrible pf play to call a raise with that trash. What did he have?

I haven't got as many replies as I would have liked, but I still welcome responses.Turns out he had 2 black 10s in the hole for a set of 10s. The way he played this hand confused me though. However, I made the mistake of being too aggressive as I should have checked behind him. At least I was able to get away from the hand and save half of my stack.

Fold. You have no choice here really. There's just way too much out there that beats you. 770 chips is enough to continue, and you just have to try to fight your way out of said hole
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.
