How to correctly take notes about how people play online? I talk about those who play sit n go's. Maybe someone could give me some tips? Thanks

Villain plays the ICM / doesn't play the ICM.If you don't have a HUD then note if villain's tight/loose/whatever in case he doesn't use the ICM.That is all.

I note if a player overvalues hands like tptk, if he bets draws aggressively, if he completes in the sb with ATC, if he check raises a lot, what he check raises with, if he makes monsterous reraises preflop with 8s+ or only with QQ+.I note if a player is a good hu player, if he never bluffs, if he bluffs weakness on the flop with a small bet on the turn, if he floats flops a lot....Etc, etc, etc.If you're playing turbo sngs, these notes will be less useful. If you're playing a sng with a lot of play, note as much as possible and sharpen your reads.Note taking just helps you keep tack of the action, so you'll be sharp and play better throughout the sng.At the very least you should make note of "good" players and "bad" players, so you know who you want to play more pots with.

I tend to make a note on the following things:1) Limping PF with big hands2) Moves like check-raises3) Continuation bet patterns4) When players call down several streets and with what hands5) BluffsAnd so on. Some of this stuff you can get a good idea on from using a HUD, but I'll make notes of specific examples. To be honest, since I started using the HUD I've found it far more valuable than my notes. It's actually very rare that I will run into a situation with a player and make use of the notes I've taken.

Oh, and raise sizes as well. Sometimes you can pick up on raising patterns, like when a player makes a minraise w/ AA but then raises 5BB with QJs.

In case that all is overwhelming start with this simple strategy:note when someone plays a hand different than the norm.If they make a weird move write it down. It's a good place to start.Like they min 3 bet pre, they 4 bet shove w/ aj off early, check raise all in a gutshot draw.Anything donkishly weird, immediately mark it. Then just branch out from there.
