So I finally got rakeback on Full Tilt over the weekend. Got a few questions about how deductions and stuff work. I signed up through rakebreak and the email they sent me regarding my negative balance says...

Thank you for contacting Rakebreak.

I checked your account and it seems that you are not aware of possible deductions that might be affecting your MGR balance. Please note that FTP deducts fees from your MGR, such as:

1. Deposit Bonuses.

2. Deposit Fees (usually about 3%)

3. Allocated values of freerolls you are eligible for. If you don't play in the freerolls, please email their support and tell them to remove you from the eligibility list so that you will not be charged for this rakeback offset any longer.

4. Allocated values of player points redeemed. I believe it is about .15 per point.

I hope this helps explain why you have or could have an FTP rake amount that is lower than you anticipated. In order for you to start seeing new information in your balance we recommend you to keep playing at the tables and participate in tournaments.

So yea can anyone explain to me why my Net poker rev is -$7.25 and my balance for June is -$1.96? And what exactly are the policies with bonuses/players pts.

FTP deducts for pretty much anything.

If you use your points in the store, if you play freerolls, if you unlock a bonus, etc.

Which all works against your rakeback.

If you're just working off the bonus, you'll still end up coming out ahead, in most cases you'll earn a little more with the bonus and rakeback combined, but if you are doing freerolls or things with guarantees and stuff, that'll put you into the negative.

It's pretty common that people's rakeback balance is a few bucks in the negative when they have a bonus going, but if you count the bonus, you're still in the black.

Edit: Shoulda went through my site though. smile.gif

wow FTP sucks, if it's .15 per pt. A 4,000 pt hat would cost me $600. Thats outrageous.

LOL... yeah they're way off on that. I don't remember the exact amount, but it's much more normal. Someone around here knows, Zimmer maybe? I forgot who told me before the exact number.

I'm pretty sure it's .005 per FTP.
