Definitely going to be some tough shoes to fill. So sad to hear about someone just dropping out of life like that.
Nihilists! F&*k me. I mean, say what you like about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

God Bless his wife and his son, I can't possibly imagine what they will be going through this Father's Day.

Only two more tables until you achieve poker orgy! Chips will be flying every which way, nonstop suck outs galore, and you won't know where you blew your stack but damn it'll be a great night.

Yep. Tim Russert was a good guy who tried to get to the heart of the issues. His work had much more depth than so many of the so-called journalists today. The man was a valuable contributer to our national political scene -- elevating the discussion rather than bringing it down to the trash that sometimes passes for political discussion these days.
On a personal level, it is equally sad. His family must be in a state of shock right now.

I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Tim Russert could be counted on to have done his homework whenever he had a guest on and nothing much ever got past him. If there was a contradiction in what the guest was saying with what he'd said before, Tim would have the quote at his fingertips. There were politicians that refused to go on his show because of his tenacious digging for the facts. I always looked forward to Meet the Press on Sunday mornings. They will seem very empty without him.
What do you like to do for fun?

I don't need to be a global citizen because I'm blessed by nationality I'm member of a growing populace we enforce our popularity I feel sorry for the earth's population 'cuz so few live in the U.S.A. At least the foreigners can copy our morality they can visit but they cannot stay Only precious few can garner the prosperity it makes us walk with renewed confidence He's the farmers barren fields the force the army wields The expression in the faces of the starving millions The power of the man he's the fuel that drives the clan He's the motive and conscience of the murderer He's the preacher on t.v. the false sincerity The form letter that's written by the big computers He's the nuclear bombs and the kids with no moms

Tim Russert was THE source for political coverage. A class act all the way around. Impossible to replace.

Tim Russert was the only Journalist that I know that was able to put his strong personal poltical beliefs aside and truly be tough and fair on both sides. The lost to journalism is enormous and I am sure the loss to his family is even more.
