from FT's MSOP holdem/omaha hi pot limit tourney yesterdayive won a few large pots int he omaha rounds, but lost most of it back with a Tens hand i think i played very badly. i just got moved to this table less than an orbit ago.UTG has raised a couple pots and made continuation bets in the few hands i've been here, but havent seen him play past thathavent seen BB play a hand yet. blinds 40/80stacks: I had about 3k, UTG had 2.5k, BB had around 2kUTG minraises to 160, folds around to me on the button. I call with 9T SB folds, BB calls. pot 520flop 9 4 2 rainbowBB checks, UTG bets 480, I call, BB foldsturn K (completes rainbow)UTG shoves, I fold...so most of my tourney posts are boring and i get like 2 responses. sorry. these are probably easy, but im mostly a limit player, trying to work on my tourney game lately. i got a few big (for me) wins last year that had my profits +$2000 from $5 tournaments. anyways...is raising the flop better? any raise I can make i think would commit me to call if he pushes, though...

You played it fine, raising the flop is really bad

This really doesnt play much different than a limit hand because of the stack sizes and his min raise. It depends on how you read the minraise. If you read it as strong, fold preflop. If you read it as weak-marginal raise preflop. You have position and the raise is likely to buy you a free turn card if you blank. If you misread it and he reraises pre, you can fold.
