econ_tim 0
FullTilt $1/$2 HEecon_tim2 folds, MP1 calls, 2 folds, econ_tim calls, 2 folds, BB checks.Pot: 3.5SBMaybe I should raise to isolate here.Flop - [3 9 9 ]BB checks, MP1 checks, econ_tim bets, BB folds, MP1 calls.Pot: 6.5 SBNo one is showing any strength.Turn - [8 ]MP1 checks, econ_tim bets, MP1 calls.Pot: 5 BBAgain, no sign of strength, I put MP1 on two high cards or possibly even suited connectors.River - [8 ]MP1 checks, econ_tim bets, MP1 folds. My two pair are counterfeited, and I can only win by betting. MP1 hasn't been playing agressively, and I think he will only call with an A. Do you think this bet is too risky? I show my cards so I can get paid off later.
Vade 0
Ordinarily I'd be fine with this raise from the CO, but not with only two other people in the pot.Otherwise this hand looks fine.
wrto4556 0
Raise preflop to isolate. Rest looks pretty good.
Guest
It looks good to me. I like the raise preflop as it will probably isolate against the single limper where you're at worst a coin flip. I like the river bet as well. You stand a really good chance of winning the pot and it is the only way you can win. You have to be careful doing this though as some people are really dumb and call you anyway. The only time I've been in a situation to try this I had 33 on a board of 26688. The whole time it was only me and one other guy in the pot. I bet and he calls with 44! I was shocked to say the least that he basically called with 4 high. Literally, the only hand he can beat on that board is 33 which I of course had. Just be careful and only try against people that are at least half way decent.Zara
