I play mostly tournaments and multi table games at PP. So I see a lot of preflop showdowns. I took note that it seemed many times the dog outdrew the favorite; AA being the worst hand.I decided to track every showdown for the last couple weeks or so on tournaments in which I was playing. Here's what I came up with:Overpairs were beaten 52% of the time in 48 events. 85% of those beats happened when the other player hit a set. Oddly enough the set card hit on the river about 40% of the time. The other 15% of the losses were mostly flushes and a couple straights.I don't know if we have any statisticians on the board but given the number of events, losing 52% of the time seems highly suspicious to me given the fact that the overpair should win 81% of the time. That's not all. I did not include "toss up" situations given that it's not statistically relevant. Non paired overcards lost to non paired undercards almost 40% of the time! Here's the worst: Players with the same high card but different undercards, e.g. AQo vs AJo lost ~30% of the time usually with the undercard hitting!I'm not complaining because I've been the beneficiary of being lucky but this just does not make any statistical sense. I question PP's program's algorithm and it's "randomness".Okay, so I'm a bit peeved cuz I just got taken out of the $250K tourney with KK vs QQ by a flush, lol. I made the money but it could have been better. The PP bad beat is world renowned but would the owners/operators of the company have a program that is not random? I don't know what their motive would be, but the statistics don't lie. Although I do make money I'm thinking of moving on cuz most of the time I'm on the wrong side of these beats. I know bad beats happen but nowhere near this extent. Any thoughts or knowledge about the integrity of PP's program?Rubin

I'm going to say that this post is a joke because of the above quoted part.[/quote]This is not a joke. I encourage you or anyone else to do your own research. What do I have to gain by making this up? You did not address my question. So unless you have done your own research do not accuse someone of being a joke.

You're going to lose it if you don't.Edit: And no, it won't be because of any "rigged" software.

AdieuAnd guess what "bugs" a lot of the people on this forum? Retarted theories like this one based on an extremely small sample of hands. Not only that, you aren't even a good enough player to realize just how hilarious the part I quoted in my first post is. How can you possibly expect even one person to take you seriously?
