I was watching one of the $2200 1on1 sngs he was playing and the other player, BOLLPOKER got disconnected. He was gone for probably 5 minutes and Dario could have probably won the match by betting before BOLLPOKER could come back. Dario actually kept the stacks even by folding half the hands... When BOLLPOKER got back he still had 400 or so more than Dario. It didn't matter in the end though because Dario flopped the nuts with his 5x7x for the straight when BOLLPOKER tried to slow play his pp 10's preflop. FWIW I thought this deserved a mention.

Its very nice when people do that. I think its much more common at the higher levels where there are less players and people need to show each other more respect to continue to get action.

Last night i was playing the $22 plo HU mtt. In rd2, i was down about 2:1 in chips when my computer randomly shut off. I came back 5 minutes later expecting to just about be blinded off, but found my opponent had been sitting out waiting for me. I thought it was pretty cool and classy thing to do.

In a sense, though, at that level isn't it more about the competition? Especially for an established pro? Could you imagine Daniel folding someone out in a sit n go? Whats the point?

I'm not trying to belittle Dario, believe me, his actions are a testament to his character, integrity, and love of the game.

But put it in context. Fargo's story is much more impressive, imo.

I think Dario is so sick. I've always been a fan of his game and those who talk trash about him probably just don't like that he's the best HU player on stars. Not long ago I saw him play a wsop step 6 SNG. That was some crazy shit I tell ya. Before getting HU, Dario had knocked out everyone but one player (not talking about the player he was HU with obv). And he sure did it fast. With a 5:1 chip lead over his opponent he took it down within a couple of hands.

On a related note...just got finished with a 2-table SNG. When it was down to four handed, one of the players disconnected for about 4-5 minutes. All during the final table, it was obvious he had interweb connection issues. During the time he was disconnected, he probably missed 3-4 orbits. I feel like the rest of us played as close to normal as possible. What is the "ethical" thing to do in this situation?
