r0llin_game 2
i think im decent at razz. i know the raise w/ KKA isnt exactly standard but i didnt see too many threating doors cards to pose a major threat.Full Tilt Poker Game #6428040471: Super Sat to FTOPS Event #18 (48856111), Table 4 - 100/200 Ante 15 - Limit Razz - 16:32:11 ET - 2008/05/15Seat 1: All Upinyerpu (1,771)Seat 2: AuntMillie (3,280)Seat 3: Jim9137 (3,002)Seat 4: Peteza (751)Seat 5: gametymer (1,816)Seat 6: Icculus78 (1,729)Seat 8: yank333 (1,609)All Upinyerpu antes 15AuntMillie antes 15Jim9137 antes 15Peteza antes 15gametymer antes 15Icculus78 antes 15yank333 antes 15*** 3RD STREET ***Dealt to All Upinyerpu [8h]Dealt to AuntMillie [8d]Dealt to Jim9137 [Qc]Dealt to Peteza [Ks]Dealt to gametymer [Kh Kd] [Ah]Dealt to Icculus78 [6d]Dealt to yank333 [7d]Peteza is high with [Ks]Peteza brings in for 30gametymer completes it to 100Icculus78 raises to 200yank333 foldsAll Upinyerpu foldsAuntMillie foldsJim9137 foldsPeteza foldsgametymer raises to 300now i know my reraise here shows strength and possibly a draw to a nut handIcculus78 calls 100*** 4TH STREET ***Dealt to gametymer [Kh Kd Ah] [3h]Dealt to Icculus78 [6d] [9c]gametymer bets 100Icculus78 calls 100*** 5TH STREET ***Dealt to gametymer [Kh Kd Ah 3h] [2c]Dealt to Icculus78 [6d 9c] [6h]gametymer bets 200Icculus78 calls 200*** 6TH STREET ***Dealt to gametymer [Kh Kd Ah 3h 2c] [4h]Dealt to Icculus78 [6d 9c 6h] [7s]gametymer bets 200Icculus78 calls 200*** 7TH STREET ***Dealt to gametymer [Kh Kd Ah 3h 2c 4h] [Qd]gametymer bets 200Icculus78 calls 200*** SHOW DOWN ***gametymer shows [Kh Kd Ah 3h 2c 4h Qd] Q,4,3,2,AIcculus78 shows [4d 3s 6d 9c 6h 7s As] 7,6,4,3,AIcculus78 wins the pot (2,135) with 7,6,4,3,A*** SUMMARY ***Total pot 2,135 | Rake 0Seat 1: All Upinyerpu folded on 3rd St.Seat 2: AuntMillie folded on 3rd St.Seat 3: Jim9137 folded on 3rd St.Seat 4: Peteza folded on 3rd St.Seat 5: gametymer showed [Kh Kd Ah 3h 2c 4h Qd] and lost with Q,4,3,2,ASeat 6: Icculus78 showed [4d 3s 6d 9c 6h 7s As] and won (2,135) with 7,6,4,3,ASeat 8: yank333 folded on 3rd St.now is that just a rly bad call on his part, or do i just really suck at razz? i mean it's pretty impossible i think for any decent players to call there, even given those odds.sorry not converted, dont wanna dl something that i wont use again on my gf's comp
checkymcfold 0
if you want to steal the antes, fine, but raise/fold third. complete/3betting is LOL-terrible.the rest of the hand is also really bad--it's way obvious that you have no FE.
r0llin_game 2
well when my hand kept improving, and i was showing A234, you'd figure i'd have better than a 7 there if you're my opponent right?

jdrury12 0
scottyno is probably -400 to win razztops, ask him
scottyno 0
basically agree with everything checky said here. I would just open fold 3rd personally, especially in a satelite tourney where you need to protect your chips. If you do raise 3rd though his reraise means he has 3 to a 6, theres no point to 3 bet since its not like you can force him out, and even if you do have 3 to a wheel he isnt that far behind. With the maniacal line you took you have to keep firing 4th 5th and 6th, he should have laid it down on 5th, but when he calls on 5th and 6th you know hes calling again on 7th, so theres no reason to bet if you can't at least beat a 97. Cappy37 0
The real danger here is, with the low door card, *you* know you have basically an auto-raise situation. The difficulty is *everyone else* knows you have an auto-raise, too. This allows them to call lighter gives them hope. It's all about expectation: this is a pure steal. You have no realistic hope to ever show down a legitimate hand, and you have to be ready to cut bait the second you face legit resistance. If you had, say, (J7)A, you'd at least be drawing ugly. Until they make razz no-limit, you have to pretty much pass on these (especially if you have been stealing/showing weak holdings), or bail the second you face resistance/they catch reasonably well in comparison to you. r0llin_game 2
i had been showing down solid hands, but that never means anything to these donks
Cappy37 0
i had been showing down solid hands, but that never means anything to these donksPrint that out and put that next to your computer screen. That's a life lesson in online poker, for certain.
KingJames 11
True that!Between people multi-tabling and just not paying attention you can't rely on a TAG imagine (in your own eyes) to command the least bit of respect...Printing it out and putting it next to your computer is a great idea... AdamC 0
This hand was like two blind guys sword fighting in a room with spiked walls.
HangukMiguk 8
Three-betting with air: You HAVE to have decent backdoor possibilities at the start. KK-A does not provide this.I've 3-bet into someone that kept trying to resteal on me in the razztops with two to a wheel on 3rd, but never with complete snow under.Your steal failed, and that's the only hope you really have in winning this hand. Muck.
