You are probably behind on the flop and took 7:1 odds to draw for 2 outs--not the right price.Their combined range contains both overpairs (SB) and things with a J.I fold facing two bets on the flop.

you guys see it's like 15-1 when it gets back around to us on the flop right? not to mention the last bet MP3 will have to put inplus we can apparently make a ton of bets on the big streets if we hit. i dont fold the flop. maybe the turn, though we're getting huge odds there too, but we have MP3 still to act so the turn could get expensive as well.

yeah, on my comment I hoped to convey that the turn was more of a fold (if) that the flopI really expect MP3 to pop the turn. What's he raising the flop with in his relative pos that wouldnt raise the turn - at least often enough for us to fold the turn.On flop, say 31 SBs in pot. We call 2. i probably go for the trap on the turn if we hit, hoping MP3 raises. he doesnt, but thats being results oriented. what's he go 3 with on the flop that he won't raise on the turn?we should easily be able to make up at least 7 BBs on later streets with the flop action and UTG tagging along.im not so worried about redraws, as anything that would have a chance to beat us is drawing at 1-2 outs. flop is a call, turn is a fold... unless we think we're ahead some decent portion of the time, which I dont.

I'm ok with flop call then. The only thing is, for most players, it leads to mistakes on every street.15-1 is ok, but like Actuary said, we'll need to make up a lot of bets when we do hit. In order to minimize the bets we need to make up, we need to be folding blank turns, and I think most people, myself included, would have a ton of trouble with that.I think folding the flop is fine, unless you're super sharp postflop, and commited to folding if we don't boat up or pick up an oesd (rio are huge there, btw).

in general this is missing the fact if you have more than one opponent, collectively, there's a decent chance we are dodging 3 outs.And consideirng the amount of bets we'd lose on the river, it should not be ignored
