Im back up to 8k chips with blinds at 500/1000/75 or something like that, after pushing 3 or 4 hands in a row and not getting called. Its BvB and SB who has me covered by a little min raises. I have QTo and flat it. Board comes 8d6d4h. Villain checks, I push, he instacalls with 9d7d OE straight flush draw and 6 pair cards. Turn is the 3s, River 2c. Crush him with Q high vs 9 high!Unfortunately I only lasted another round when my KQs raised to 2500 on the button, reraised all in by the SB, .I put him on Ax or any pair making it an easy call, he showed up with AJ and the rest was a blank.Tonight I got crushed in a $200 ME satellite when in the first orbit I won two small pots, had AA cracked by A7s that flushed (no I didnt slow play them), leaving me with 600 chips, which I double up with JJ and then lose with a set of 4s to a rivered flush.I proceeded to run $100 up to 1,100 in blackjack, then split 8s vs a 2 with $80 out there, double down on one when a 2 shows up and makes 17, the other one bricks, dealer makes 19. Picked up the $860 which paid for the tourneys and most of the weekends expenses.The poker room is decent, the food is awful...from the food court to the coffee stand to the seafood restaurant, everything sucked. rooms ok for the $$. Indian Casino - I've heard that it's very nice and is where Jerry Yang won his ME sat last year.I've actually never played at an Indian Casino - closest in my area is River Rock up in Wine Country but they were having trouble getting a liquor license which diminished the charm. Its a palace compared to Oceans 11 though! Worth the extra 1/2 hour drive.Indian casinos run the whole gamut from little dives where youre not sure they clean the place more than once a year, to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods, both of which I like as much as anything in Vegas (well, until Mohegan Sun shut down their poker room)BTW, I missed the funny parts of the blackjack win. It took about 20 minutes..longer than I lasted in the ME satty, and before I sat down I didnt realize it was a continuous shuffle machine or I never would have bothered. I'm hungover and bored so decided to watch the 2008 NBC heads-up championship. God, he played bad from the minute he sat down. First I'd seen of him since the ME. Build a stack early or youre at 100/200 and pushbot mode before you know it. Link to post Share on other sites

I count cards.2. Even if you dont use a point count system, just tracking As and 5s can improve your chances considerably. Link to post Share on other sites
