TaxLawyer71 0
Per TSN.Can't wait to see what this guy has to offer. Heard lots of good stuff about him, but I wonder why he isn't on the Swede squad at the World Championships. Anyone knows if he actually declined or simply didn't earn a spot?Anyhow, I think he might end up on a line with Brad Richards and Louie Eriksson, since I can't see the Stars being able to ink Hagman in the off season. In the meantime, let's get game 1 tonight! Somehow, I find myself thinking about Ducks and Sharks fan. Can't wait for the game. Have a good one.

Because he's overhyped and undertalented. He's a third line player with Fjarstaad, who's scored about 10 goals in a league with lots of scoring. He's just unsigned, undrafted, and worth picking up. But I'm willing to bet he's not a first or second line player in the nhl. Hell, he may even end up in the minors. Thinking this kid is a star is like thinking the leafs are going to win the cup.. Dallas has never been a team that comes into the Joe and takes care of business. Turco has never been a threat to the Red Wings his entire career. We are humming along nicely which has been a complete surprise to me this post season and I am more than happy to be completely wrong in my predictions I made a few weeks before the end of the season.People say the Red Wings should be worried about Dallas' physical play. Why? We can be physical and we can take hits. Last year against Calgary and Anaheim should have ended that doubt. We should also be worried about Dallas' speed. Should we? Hard to be too worried when we maintain control of the puck for the vast majority of our games and even last night. If you don't have the puck your speed won't be that much of a factor. Turco played out of his mind in the last series. So. That is what everyone said about Theodore yet we got him pulled in all 4 games. I expected the Wings to come out flat last night and probably try and hang close till they got their legs. Opps, I was wrong...I do not expect this to be easy like the Avs series turned out to be but I do not expect a 7 game series. I could be wrong, it won't be the first time or last time but I stick by it. It's all in good fun anyway.

I just pointed out that the consensus appeared to be that Dallas would lose in the first 2 rounds. As for last night, I'm not sure what to take out of it. Dallas top 2 lines came out very flat, which was expected considering that these players played over 50 minutes on sunday night. At the same time, I think Detroit can play better too. I also think our PK is better than what we showed last night, but then again, not sure we would be able to contain the Wings PP on our best night. They have so much ammo, it's scary. Our PP will have to do some damage too if we want to make it. Last night display was, well, quite pathetic. Weak dump ins, offsides, turnovers, you name it.As for Turco, I think he can get the job done. If the players can get their legs moving, I think this could be a heck of a series.I agree with you 100%, it's all in good fun. I have always enjoyed seeing the Wings play, so I'm looking forward to the next few games.Good luck.
