Pre-flop is obvious, as is flop I believe. The turn is where it gets tricky for me... The check/raise can easily mean a set or 2-pair. I'm not happy with the king on the river, but with my position is bet/call better than checking behind? Should I even be thinking about bet/folding the river? Also, something I've been curious about. Posting before you get to the blinds... Is that gonna affect me much? Sometimes I just don't want to wait and figure I'll post the blind if I have to wait more than 4 or 5 hands. Does it make a difference?
jday561 0
Tough spot here, i'll wait to see what other say.I wait til the blinds come to me so I can watch 2 or 3 or whatever hands to see how everyone plays.. like maybe there you could've gotten a read on that guy that he's a calling station or whatever and knew you had that hand won but idk
Zach6668 513
Dunno if I 3-bet the turn...
jday561 0
Dunno if I 3-bet the turn...yea I might not 3-bet it either because of the possibilty of a set
Frez 0
Don't worry about the K on the river. Bet it when checked to you. I've seen guys at higher levels go off like this with JT for TPNK, or ATs for TPTK. I would have said UTG+1 had QQ or JJ except for no preflop raise. I think those hands check when a K comes on the river.I might not 3-bet the turn either, but I'm a bit timid. As for posting - I post if I can get into late postion. Otherwise I wait for it to come around.
Actuary 3
I'm pretty convervative; but I'd say we were not ahead often enough to 3 bet the turn.UTG likes his hand.Showing the river action changes the look though, so it probably influences others

Roo6339 0
Yeah, I thought about that after posting... Shouldn't have posted what happened after my river bet. But yeah, I really wasn't sure about that turn. For the record, this time it was a good 3-bet. He had 97o.... I love .10/.
