I was reading the post on counting outs that Jason started and I came accross his brief reference to abbreviated notes on players:

Quote

"CD w OESD" - Call Down w/ OESDor "CR ep w 2 oc NFD" - Check/Raise from Early Position w/ 2 Overcards and Nutflush draw so... AKsuited or AQ suited in this case most the time.
This looks like it would very useful and I was wondering if there is a standard way that people take their notes, or if its just a personal preference. Also is there maybe a guide to taking good notes on opponents somewhere? Thanks

 BLASPHEMY! How can you tell that a donk is a donk if you don't have copious notes about the times he calls 3 cold with 47o on the button.....Oh yeah, you have a platform that gametime+ works on (stupid Windows 98 ). For the rest of us peons, we have to rely on noticing things at the time and going through pokertracker later to find the REALLY bad people we missed labels on.As for abbreviations, I'm in the write most of it out camp. Perhaps I'd be able to get used to it but I prefer mostly full sentence fragments, not random collection of letters like JaysonZara
