Never seen him raise a lead before, was kinda passive. Calling raises preflop regularly and limping in too much.
jmbreslin 0
Either a semi-bluff, set, or slowplayed AA/KK. Your way behind two of these possibilities and only slightly ahead of one. With the size of the raise and his loose-passive image I'd probably credit him with a set or bigger pair and fold. It's too early to stack off with JJ here IMO.

It's too early to stack off with JJ here IMO.Well, I think we can discount AA/KK from his range. Up until this point he had called almost every one of my raises. Even though he was a little passive I think he still would have 3 bet me with AA/KK. I thought he would be able to do this with top pair so I was up against something along the lines of 77, 99, 44, QQ, TT, A9, 79 or a combidraw. It's kind of hard to say his range is that narrow though because he called preflop raises very liberally.
DonkSlayer 1
Kind of a crappy spot. I don't give villain credit for overpairs to ours, really. I think it's really close but shove is correct.
TrueAce13 18
Shove. Pray that he has a big 9 (K9, A9). Throw your mouse if he shows you a set. Played fine though. IMO

Berwatchey 0
i'm gona say that in this spot hes turning over QQ+ like never. not from a player who liberally calls alot of pots.i'd say hands like 89 and A9 are most likely in this spot.a diamond draw is possible.maby a hand like 6 8. at worst i'll say you got unlucky and he flopped 2 pair. but i'd say more than 50% of the time you are a favorite on this flop. IMOIf I were villian, I don't call hero's all-in on the flop with A-9 or K-9. Not worth it for a single pair and an over card. He took a shot and hero pushes back - opps and tuf and time to muck it (I didn't in a live tourney 2 nights ago and sure enough my 'hero' (very LA and ag bluffer) showed AA to my A-Js (wrong suit) That shrunk my stack by half and my mental attitute by considerably more kicking my own ass b/c I overratted TPTK and underrated a LA!I would call with 44, 77 and 99 thou and 8 T or other str8/flush draws. After hero's all-in the pot is laying 2.5:1 and villain still has a stack of 2040 if he misses

After hero's all-in the pot is laying 2.5:1 and villain still has a stack of 2040 if he missesBut on this situation, villain is a station, so he is likely to have a hand like a K9 or A9 here very often. Villain would have 3bet if holding a hand QQ+ PF, so that is out of his range. If he is on a draw or a set, more power to him, but again, like OP stated, he is somewhat of a donk. This is a good position to get our money in.
MovingIn 0
How was villain playing postflop? Was he folding a lot or was he raising people?
jday561 0
I think your beat here - most likely by a set, highly highly doubt this is a bluff though.Outcome?

After hero's all-in the pot is laying 2.5:1 and villain still has a stack of 2040 if he missesbut your not an idiot either. weve establishid that villian is a donk. who plays way too many pots. donks who play alot of hands will almost always get it in with a hand like a 9 or k 9. insta shove or insta all in. on occasion they get lucky and flop 2 pair. and at worst he has a set. i've even seen this exact play from similar styles with an ace high flush draw. there are hands that beat us but in all likelyhood hes turning over a hand with only 6 outs for a win. HighwayStar 8
I play the it same. If he's bad he has a lot of 9's. Could show up with 2 pair but you can always resuck. Can't see this being an overpair but you never know. The 6 means 6% preflop raise right? QQ+ is in this range. AA is played passively more than QQ/KK so that's the most likely overpairAlso isn't 1.8 quite a high AF? Not sure exactly what this means or how it's calculated but if it means he's aggressive post flop then I'd put him on a A9/TT here a lot or a combo flush/straight draw.
