i knew exactly what this was as soon as i saw the thread title. my best friend is swedish and his cousins turned him on to this a long time ago.here's a picture of me in my "gunther phase" at 21 in about 2003 or so. though it's kind of hard to see i had the stash too.i think i'm smiling in that stupid way cause i'd been taking adderall for 16 hours.

it was just the way i happened to look at the time. when my friend showed it to me i already had a mullet, a moustache, etc. the mustache is back but i fear i'm getting a bit too old for the mullet.

BLASPHEMY.I've always wanted to cultivate some sort of ridiculous look, preferably including a mullet and/or a mustache, but I've always had a job that frowns upon looking "different." maybe I should say "screw the man, I'm Gunther! you cannot hinder my spectacular facial hair!" yeah, thats what I'll say.

My husband did full-on muttonchops for about a year. Got madly complimented by every teenage goth/punk boy we saw. Loved them until the day after he shaved them off -- now thinks of them as some strange sort of spell one falls under, thinking they look good until the moment they're gone and you realize they never did.
