1. I'd never heard of this

2. I'm too lazy to check if someone has made a thread on this

but, I just started watching this today, borrowed it from a friend, so far just finished the first episode. Seems a little cheesy to be honest. Is it worth me carrying on watching it? It does come with a kick ass extra - the final table of the 1998 WSOP FT.

So - thoughts? Also, did they make any more seasons after this one?

That is all.

No. It was VERY cheesy and pretty bad, but worth a look through if you've got nothing better to do.

It's WAY better than Rounders. Here's why: it knows what it is: ironic entertainment for me, and pornography for 16-year-old assholes who imagine themselves getting girls by showing bluffs. Rounders tries to mask that fact, and fails.

I watched and loved every horrific episode.

I hate to admit it, but me to. I loved Tilt. I thought the show was entertaining, even if the characters weren't all that believable. I also loved Playmakers on ESPN. Call me crazy, but ESPN makes some great dramas.

I prefer Rounders, but I agree with your last comment.

I guess this is all unnecessary rambling because Hollywood personifies something I hate about most people. He can take valuable knowledge, stare it right in the fucking face and never let a single sentence absorb into his brain.

I'd hit that...

UPDATE: Now finished episode 2. Still just as awful, but i figure i've already wasted two hours of my life and the only way i can justify that is by wasting more hours finishing the season...

Yeah he was cool, just one of the guys... Sucked at poker which was great. I forget the exact amount he lost but he did loose at least a buy-in or two, so at least $2K-$5K.

I knew that he was on TV and that I had seen him before but I didn't remember exactly what he starred in until I came home and pulled him up on IMDB.
