In terms of the trades. Atlanta wants Dorsey so being afraid someone moves up to 2...they move up one spot by dealing a later pick or something...Rams want Long anyways so they get him and everyone's happy. Chiefs at 5 want an OL but anyone is a reach there and with Matt Ryan being available at 5 and a bunch of teams interested...I think the Ravens can offer the most with #8 overall (high enough that the Chiefs get their highest rated OL) and some picks or whatever. Saints covet Ellis (or Dorsey but that's too much to move up to #2)...so I can see them jumping past Cinci who also want Ellis. Pats seem likely as they prolly will take the BPA at 7 anyway and most of those would be available 3 spots lower (except maybe Rivers) and the Saints can deal a few picks or something.

You think that SIX of the remaining nine teams to pick in the top 10 will trade their pick?... um.... no.

That's 3 trades. Quite conceivable. The Rams/Falcons is the least conceivable but the NE/NO trade and the Balt/KC trade makes huge sense

I agree. One, MAYBE two trades that early but no more than that. I still don't buy that KC will trade their pick if Matt Ryan is still sitting there at 5.Edit: Oh, and as a big KU fan, I'd be SHOCKED if Talib went to the Eagles. CB isn't a Rd. 1 priority for them, imo.

Meh, with Lito basically out the door it wouldn't shock me.

word on the street is KC has ZERO interest in Matt Ryan. I dont know why....but I do think they should trade down and take an o-lineman later if that is a possibility. REally, teams should almost always trade down if that option is available. Having a plethora of picks on the first day is the key to rebuilding fast. Also, I am hearing a lot of rumblings about Miami sending Jason Taylor to Jacksonville for the #26 pick. They need a good pass rusher but they also want to win now so the trade makes a lot of sense. I would not be surprised to see this happen and then Miami could get a DB and a QB with picks # 26 and 32. (If it were me I would get Brohm and Kenny Phillips.....two guys who if they came out last year would both have been picked much higher than this year. They are falling for stupid reasons and would be great value.)
