Your raise on the turn doesn't represent anything, and Villain is not folding for only $10 more. It's better just to check-call and save money when you miss. If you're going to raise, it has to be on the flop, but I think I would prefer leading the flop rather than check-raising.

The turn 6 didn't help anything at all. I think the only thing calling you most likely is a set.I think potting is the turn would be better than c/c because at least you can put the pressure on and still call a push with whatever is left. There isn't much to this board and he could easily have an overpair and leading into him could make him fold where if you check/push, he's calling anyway for only a few more dollars and you are more likely behind.

That's where it sort of comes down to your reads. Against some players you're probably drawing only to an oesd if they have AAxx with hearts, but against others they will make this shove with ANY AAxx hand and you could very well be drawing live with >16 outs twice and be a favourite.

When I see people take a line like this, I usually assume that they must have just not thought it out at all and just came up with it on the fly, but you really think this might be OK, even after having time to think about it?The fact is that you have a huge hand on the flop. This is the time when you need to either lead or check/raise while you still have fold equity and where a made hand won't be able to get away if you hit your draw. By the time you get to the turn, you've lost all your fold equity and you're just allowing villain to get all his money in as good as possible.Leading the flop > C/Ring the flop >>>>>>>> C/Cing down both streets > Folding somewhere >>>>>>>>> C/Cing flop and C/Ring turn

Yah, you are right about me thinking about this on the fly during the hand. On the turn, I just thought, I have a big draw, shoveroo. I don't really think it's ok after having some time to think about it, don't know where I said that? I'm just still confused as to the best line to take here.So, leading the flop is great but if he then pots me, easy fold for me at that point? I'm a donk, so I'd probably shove it with my draw on the flop, knowing he will call and hope I'm a slight favourite.
