But you aren't everyone. We don't call with ace high when 1 person bets and another calls. If you're posting this hand because you folded and AJ took it down, then I don't think you have anything to worry about in making your money back.

I can see sb with AK,AQ,AJ thinking UTG is stealing on the end with nothing. And I can see UTG trying to make a desparate steal acting last with a missed FD. But I would think someone would have a small pair a lot of the time. And I don't see many FD that UTG wouldn't raise preflop that he would limp/call a 3bet with and/or not raise the flop with. But he is "loose/bad." I just don't think that this situation would be good for you better than 8/1 without a good read. But, I obv don't have any concrete numbers.

See, that's what I like about poker. Even the mildly retarded can play.

I think we're ahead of the SB very often, but a hand like 66 or 88 (less) wouldn't surprise me.

UTG probaly has a pretty wide range here.

I think the river call is quite close. Because of the fact that UTG bet, I think there's a chance he has air, and SB's call doesn't tell me that we're behind often enough, since AQ, AJ could be a huge part of his range.... I'm ok with a call, but it's probably really really close.

if i'm planning on showing down in this spot, i'm raising the flop, taking a free card, and calling the river instead of using your line.

as played, i really don't think we're good 1/7.

If there are two things LHE players like, they are weed and pornography. The third would be kittens. LHE does not appear on the list.

as played, i really don't think we're good 1/7.

What about 11% of the time? (We're getting 8-1.)

I've been out of the Limit game too long and facing half-pot and pot bets of NL where I have to be correct more often. If I'd actually stopped longer to think about my odds, I think I would've called. I really felt that UTG had air and SB had A-high...like a lot...at least 25-30% of the time. I didn't see either opponent checking a pair on the turn and the river really shouldn't have paired them or warranted a bet if it did.

Also, I did consider raising the flop. The SB's donkbet just really struck me by surprise.
