Stupd Xbox 360 And Non Hdtv

Recommended Posts

So I bought a 360, but I can't get a hdtv for a couple months. So I went and got a S Video cable. When I try to hook it up through the back of my direct tv, nothing happens.Any ideas?

I don't even understand your question. Is there an s-video output on a 360? If there is, that's news to me.

http://assets.xbox.com/en-us/support/na-avcable-svid.pdfhttp://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemse...tionmanuals.htmLooks like you need to make sure 1. your on the correct Input on the Tv... 2. Go to System settings on the xbox and choose output or something of that nature. 3. Bite the bullet go buy a decent HDTV and HDMI Cable 4. Get the composit cable and use it (yellow, white, red)

my friend just spent 2400$ for a 40 inch TV, Xbox 360 and all the hook ups, warranties, 2 controllers, COD4, NHL 08 and I must say, I think he's a fcuking idiot to have put all that on a best buy credit card with a 20 month payment plan. Just seems like a stupid idea to me to have such a crazy commitment without a steady job. The set up is sweet, and i haven't told him how stupid i think he is yet becasue I want watch hockey games on it. But when the palyoffs are over, I'm gonna give him a peice of my mind.

Best Buy has a 20 month payment plan? Or 20 month special interest plan.. If you usually pay min, you can owe them for years upon years...

It's gotta be a no interest plan or it wouldn't have a 20 month period attached to it. I'm more curious as to how he got the financing without having a job.

ya its no interest for 20 months. His parents gave him their Best buy credit card. He has a job now, which he tends to call in sick to watch hockey games, but he's going to graduate some bogus Leadership and Recreation program so he will probably try to find a career related "job" sometime soon. I meant the job he does have isn't steady, so committing to a huge payment for a luxury is just plain stupid. I hate it when people are so financially irresponsible.

I got my TV with something similar, it was 2 years no interest, at circuit city, but as long as we paid $50 a month it'd get paid off, so it wasn't a big problem. I think we financed like 1200 or so.

You are thinking of the housing finance market. Almost any retail store will still give you credit just as long as you are breathing.
