Don't quote me, but I think drinking is 19 everywhere, but you can gamble at 18 (just means you can go play bingo or buy lottery tickets, you won't get in an Ontario casino. You can get into pubs in my area but you can't order drinks. Most clubs ID you at the door. I think you can get in the casinos in Alberta at 18. I'd recommend waiting a year before coming to Ontario at least.

A driver's lic. and birth certificate will get you into Canada but if you want to fly the US will require that you have a Passport to get back to the US. You can drive across the border back to the US still without a Passport.

QFT
Drinking age is 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Everywhere else is 19. You have to be of age to go into a club or casino.
QFTIn Quebec you can buy beer at any corner store or grocery store. In Ontario you have to go to the Beer Store which is a bitch, and I think this is th case for most of Canada.

Same here. I can go one state north from VA to Maryland and you have to buy beer at the beer store. I can drive south to FL and get a 5th from the counter of a gas station. Sick.
