10-handed $.50/$1 Limit HEI'm in the SB with K:heart: Q:heart:UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, 6 folds, I complete, BB checks(I would've raised on the button or if there were more limpers.)Flop: K:club: 6:club: T:club:This is my question: So I'm first to act with top pair, good kicker, but with three clubs on board, and I have three opponents. I decide to check, looking to c/r and see if I can knock out any weak club draws with a double bet. Is this smart, or should I just bet out (which is what I would do if I was holding the A:club:)?
Then you go to da box for 2 minutes by yourself, you feel shame... then you get free.

Fancy Play Syndrome rules!Raise preflop. Bet the flop, fold to a raise.

Probably so. Check/fold the turn UI then?

Ok, I like the bet/3-bet line.At the time, my thinking was that it wouldn't be a disaster if it checked around, because then I could charge one-card flush draws a full bet to draw at a small pot if a blank hit the turnBut now I realize that I should've just bet out to make sure I get value, since any flush draws are an underdog to get there. As it happened, the flop checked around. The turn was the 8:heart:, I bet and got one caller. River was the 9:club:, I checked, planning to fold, but he checked behind (??) with J:club: T:heart:.
