AimHigher 0
I raise the button to try and isolate one of the limpers. The last thing I want to do is see a flop with AJ against 5 players. After the flop I would bet/fold the turn. There are draws out there like K9 and T9. Since there is value to be had from those hands you can bet the turn quite comfortably. You can also fold to a check raise since nothing you beat is likely to check-raise on that turn unless you feel he is a particularly tricky or aggressive player.
Money022 0
Yeah, after looking over the hand history, before your reply, I wondered why I just didn't raise preflop.
Dictius 0
Bet/fold turn for value from straight draws/worse jacks/middle pairs imo
MikeBauer26 0
Bet/fold turn for value from straight draws/worse jacks/middle pairs imoTechnical question:Am I getting the "Bet/Fold" right?the rule is We are betting when checked to and folding otherwise?Does it also include a suggestion for being checkraised? (Fold I guess)For the given hand I don't fire a second barrel as I really can't see him playing a T9 or KT from UTG even though he is weak. Even the weakest players at .50 should have picked up a tad about starting hands for UTG at .50? My guess is he has the third Q and is happy slowplaying it or is not going to call a further bet with a hand you beat anyway so my bet here has -EV

I think most non regulars would play both T9s and KTs almost always in EP and definitely some offsuit combinations of the hands. Donks will play junk like this in EP at all stakes. As for the hand I would b/f the turn and depending on how weak he is and what came on the river I may value bet it too. Sheiky 0
Meh, i think i'd rather check the turn and bet the river than bet the river and check the turn, and i'm not sure if i could value bet both streets without a read.
Money022 0
So mixed responses. Cool with that.Based on my observation of the villian I knew he was weak and rarely had the Q. I figured I would throw out another bet and probably take down the pot most of the time anyways. Perhaps checking behind and calling a bet on the river extracts value from non Q hands as I have the nuts to anything but a Q.Anyway, I bet $4 and he folded.
