PokerStars 0.02/0.04 Hold'em (7 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is SB with [Tc], [9h]. CO posts a blind of $0.02. UTG calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, CO (poster) checks, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.Flop: (7 SB) [Qc], [Jd], [Kc] (7 players)Hero checks, BB bets, UTG calls, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, Hero calls.Turn: (13.50 BB) [9c] (5 players)Hero bets, BB folds, UTG calls, MP1 calls, Button calls.River: (17.50 BB) [8c] (4 players)Hero bets, Hero calls, MP1 calls.Final Pot: 23.50 BBI flop a straight and think check-raise since I'm in first position. I'm a little surprised by all the action.I then lead the turn in spite of the third club because I have a club myself (and one card off an sflush).I lead the river, the button finally comes out of his shell and raises, so I just call.
did i play this all right?

looks good, but i bet the flop, because although you flopped a str8 it is EXTREMELY vulnerable with 2 clubs on the board and any ace has a str8 draw. i also like just calling the river b/c the j
or A
are almost inevitable here.

It's not a terrible complete imoThere's a lot of people in this flop. If you have some postflop skills, 9-10o can be considered at the bottom of playable hands from the sb.Yeah, it's not the greatest hand to be completing with, but it's playable imo

I like completing, betting/capping flop, betting the turn, and check/calling. Too many clubs. Even if the river wasn't a club, there's still 3 on the board, and a player who sees a beautiful straight board to win his flush money.

yikesthis is one of those rare instances where i probably fold PF when they arent suited and raise when they are.
i saw him at the riverbank. he was breaking bread and giving thanks. with crosses made of pipes and planks. leaned up against the nitrous tanks.
he said take a hit. hold your breath and i'll dunk your head. then when you wake up, you'll be high as hell and born again.
