I'm still playing on Prima, so I couldn't really use the hand history, but it's a simple hand anyway:10-handed limit HE, $.50/$1I pick up T:heart: 3:heart: in the BB.UTG limps, button limps, SB completes, I checkFlop: 3:diamond: Q:heart: 2:spade:SB checks, I bet, UTG folds, button calls, SB calls(Aside-has nothing to do with this hand: SB is one of the strangest fish I've ever seen. He is extremely loose- passive, he limps virtually any hand (with anything from junk (J6) to big pairs (QQ), and remains passive until he gets any reasonable piece of the board, then he goes ballistic, especially on the river. I've seen him turn aggressive and 3-bet with bottom pair, and I've seen him just call with an overpair. Weird.)Anyway, I bet the flop hoping to take it down right there, I'd have folded to a raise.Turn: T:club:I bet, button raises, SB folds, I three-bet, button calls.River: 5:heart:I bet, button raises(?), I call.EDIT: Results removed, will post again later. So should I have reraised the river, or was the call prudent? I couldn't think of much that I was beating for which his play made sense - I wondered if I was against a slow-played set. Thanks for responses.-Bill

I wouldn't go for another three bet on the river. A raise again on the river tells me I'm probably behind. Check/call after he calls your three bet seems weak too. I think bet/call was fine for the river.

take out the results.and a set probably caps the turn. higher 2 pair is all i worry about. check calling is bad. 3betting is decent. i like bet/call.

for some reason im really thinking he has made a lower two pair, 10 2, i like the 3 bet on turn and i like the bet on the river as he has called your 3 bet on the turn, results?

Result: Button had AA, I couldn't stop laughing when I saw that. I'd obviously have folded to a raise pre-flop; I think I also would've folded had he raised me on the flop.

You mean the flop right? You had two pair on the turn.
