Well, because I read so much about how all you allstars multi table and turn a nice profit, iam looking for some advice. I've only multi'd a few times, and that was when i played 2 tables at either the 1/2 or 2/4 .. To me, things get pretty hectic, but that might be because I still play too many hands. I'd really like to start 2+ tabling at the 2/4, since that would prob be a nice start if I can consistently win. So here's my question. Just how tight do all you guys play? I mean, do you fold AJo? KQo? Small pairs in MP? Axs in MP? How about suited connectors? My game right now, I'll limped w AJo and KQo in EP, but fold the suited non str8 aces, and i usually fold the small pairs as well. My stats for 2/4 after 10k hands or so is about 5 BB/hr, and 7bb/100 .. VP$IP is around 28 or 29% .. Yeah, iam semi loose agg agg.. Hey, it works for me. So if I am multi tabling, Iam assuming I should cut out AJo from anything but LP? Of course my goal is to 3 or 4 table 15/30 for a few hours a day, and focus on my tournament play at night.. Anyways, all you fellahs playing less than 20% of your hands, I just don't know how you do it. I like playing 20-30%! And would like to keep it up when i multi table as well.. Any advice would be cool, because I need improvement when my focus is divided.. Thanks..

1) I wish I was as lucky as you.2) Your vpip is too high.3) Multi-tabling is fun, but you do miss out on certain EV spots. I give up on some blind steals because I know that I will see AA in a hand soon enough playing alot of tables. But I don't see how you can fold AJ or KQ. Christ. Those are monsters at 2/4 and 3/6.

I'm sure they're monsters at .5/1 too :D
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Mine does that, too. I thought it was because I changed my stuff daily, but if it's happening to you, too, maybe FCP is having problems.

how am i lucky? Also, I would think if you 4 table and and play for an hour, you can steal blinds maybe 5-6 times or so..easy.. thatd be 3 more BB/hr or so.. I dont plan on taking that out of my game. I am really asking about hand selection, such as middle suited connectors and small pairs. I mean, I'll 3 bet any pair if against a loose raiser or a possible blind steal. I guess I can tone it down in that regard though. AJo , IMHO, is pretty weak, and I cringe when i limp with it EP.. I'd have no problem cutting that out of my game. I don't know..I need to focus on this sng though.. thanks for your help..

AJo is a raise from EP.You're lucky because you play too loose but are somehow winning money.

well, in all honestly, i play smart and have good reads on people because i play only one table.. my 5/10 and 3/6 stats are still at 4 bb/hr or 6bb/100.. I think raising EP isnt all that profitable. Ive Iam 3 bet, iam behind, and if i get some calls and miss the flop, iam screwed.. If i do hit, the other people in, have position on me and the correct odds to outdraw on me. If I simply limp, I can get more people in the pot that may draw to something. Also, if they chase to the riv, they'd be making a mistake because they wouldnt be receiving pot odds. We make money by making fewest mistakes at the table, and when other people make mistakes. Also, if you're worried about playing against a big field, a simple check raise can knock most of the field out on the flop. Just my opinion of course, which has been working for me. AJs I'd raise.. AJo, i'd limp and sometimes fold if the table is really agg..

Do you realize the contradiction in your post?

nope..come to think of it.. i don't even know why i asked a serious question in this section.. I asked for serious advice and i've gotten garbage. goldtoe, if you don't remember yesterday at the 3/6, i saw you overplay every hand you had, tried to buy numerous pots out of position with weak hands, and so you lose close to 100 bucks in less than 30 hands.. NOT due to bad beats and suck outs.. but do to you overplaying hands. For some reason i assume most people on here know their stuff, when thats not true.. Please don't make me post all the hands you played there and show all the mistakes you made in a short period of time.. From you, I don't need any advice or help.. thanks anyways.. Once again Ill keep with what works for me, and fine tune my own mutli table style.. One more thing.. the first hand i saw you play right before I sat down, was when you raised ATo from MP1. At a very loose table, you're lucky your tens held up when overs fell. Maybe you should tighten up a bit, because ATo MP at a loose table is an easy fold.

You're making more mistakes than a lot of people. Playing as many hands as you say you do is inherently flawed.

Nope, you've gotten advice and didn't like it, so to you it is garbage. That's all.Go back to general, where apparently they are more serious about poker than the strat section is.
