Christopher Walken On Snl Tonight 4/5/08

Well it's been so long since I've seen a Walken film. Plus, he just makes it so obvious that he is reading his lines.
That's how everyone is on SNLBut walken rules.

I was laughing a lot.Besids 90% of Walken's lines, I cracked up when Amy Pohler was imitating him.and on another note Jezebel and Dark Victory were on back to back on TCM tonight. Probably two of my top 10 movies of all timealongwith Final Four and EliteXC it's been a good day to be lazy and own a DVR

That was the most pitiful thing i've ever seen on SNL. Could he be any more dry and emotionless while staring at the cards and reading the lines? I couldn't even watch it. It's possible he was drooling on himself. Somebody missed rehearsal..

This is where you need consider the source of the comments. The monologue was hilarious. Walken: "Now I have a question for you.... You should be ashamed of yourself!"

That's what I'm talking about. Of course, I love it, but to each his own. I always wondered if it's something he does on purpose when he hosts, because he's actually a good actor.

I disagree.Which era of SNL are you stuck in?just curios. Every older person has there era.
none, i actually have enjoyed this recent cast. but there was no great moment (cowbell, continental, etc), only a few good ones. and the occasionally wooden delivery and obvious card reading was a disappointment. i expected more from walken, and i think this was his worst visit to the show.

wait, I thought this was the way he was on ther. I mean, the style and the always looking off camera (to read or just to look like it it didn't matter). It's endearing to the fans.On another note, has anyone ever seen "Rainbow Head" I hardly ever see that old skit in reruns.

I don't think you get it.
I guess not...cause there was nothing funny to be seen there.
