CobaltBlue 662
Probably fine, though I'm pondering if I might prefer a c/c on the flop with plans to get it in on most turns.
Dictius 0
I just have a horrible feeling almost every time you get called after you raise the flop you will be shown QQ+

tskillz187 0
Without more history I think C/R is best there. You're beat quite a bit when you're called, but it's better than trying to trap with JJ, if you call and check the turn to him and he checks behind, you just let him see turn and river for free. AimHigher 0
The decision would be a lot easier if we had more than 25 hands. In the three hands he's raised preflop has he made continuation bets in any of them or only bet on the flop for value? He is a loose-passive, so you're not getting him to fold down a better hand. I also think his flop bet is probably a value bet, and most of the hands in his range that value bet this flop are ahead.Did you run into queens? O_O
Sheiky 0
Meh, i don't mind it but i think i think check/calling the flop and evaluating the turn is probably best, i think you could prolly check/fold the turn if he bets big as well given that it should narrow his range down a lot. mtdesmoines 2
Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[], J[]. Hero raises to $0.35, MP raises to $1.2, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.85. I think we ran into trouble PF with this hand, I think. Of the hands that behave this way, AK AA KK QQ JJ TT AQ come to mind. For some reason, I never run into AK AQ TT here. It's always KK-QQ.I spose I'm OK with the shove, cause, like what are our options? CF sucksCC sucksCR ... mehAI ... meh

I didn't like my shove, but I didn't like folding either. I suppose I could have reevaled the turn, but I have no read on him with only 25 hands, and he could double barrel me with any hand he's holding for all I know. I just felt ill. I just felt ill. What makes you think he's going to double barrel you with any hand he's holding?Even though it doesn't mean much an aggro factor of .75 shows the opposite.I think most people are giving up on the turn with A/K-high in this spot, and even if they are you're rarely going to come accros someone who'll bet full pot/large bet twice with AK here. AimHigher 0
I just felt ill. This pretty much describes my feelings regarding the entire hand. It seems like there is no +EV way to play it against his range?

His AF is pointless of 25 hands, so that's not much of an aid.I don't know about people not two barreling with AK. It seems to happen to me all the time.

TT is the only realistic hand he's ever gonna call with that JJ beats here.

AimHigher 0
Yeah but we survived the flop against AK AQ TT and can fold/stack them. Still hate the spot. That is why I asked about whether he was C-betting or not. Because if he does make frequent C-bets then some of the time he will fold AQ/AK, but if we've never seen him do it then we are shoving into a range of TT - AA.
