I know its a little light.Flop: ($24) J , 8 , 9 (3 players)Moneyball bets $15.2, MP1 folds, MP2 calls $15.20.I think if I decide to bet this flop I should have bet it more than 2/3, not sure why I didnt. MP2 took some time before calling, if that means anything.Turn: ($54.40) A (2 players)Moneyball bets $35, MP2 calls $35.I could have bet larger here as well. Villain called instantly in this spot.River: ($124.40) 2 (2 players)Moneyball bets $80?I sometimes get in bad situations, by being too aggro and value betting too much, in spots like this where I have an alright hand oop on the river after firing the flop and turn. I think this is from my past as a LHE player.I check this sometimes where I think villain is likely to have a missed draw, but his timing tells on the flop and turn lead me to believe that I could discount a draw from his range slightly.Comments on all streets are welcome.

If, by timing tells, you mean it was taking him time, then he may have been calculating drawing odds and isn't going to pay this bet but may bluff if you check to him. Calling a huge bet on this river is gross. But I think the flop and turn action is different if he flopped a monster. I think your action size is about right. I think I may have let the villain bluff at it.

I wouldn't ever bet this flop, TBH. Thats like the worst flop ever and you're betting into two players.Everything else looks fine to me.

i'd bet fold flop, bet turn (not sure whether i'd call or fold to a raise), and then check/call river

I like a c/f on the flop. If that was checked round I'd definately bet the turn. If that was called I c/c river. Its a good bluffing board for the villain, or someone who has AsX. If that X is a J, gross.

Yeh i wouldn't bet the flop either, you're getting called so often and if you don't improve you're gonna get bet out of the hand a lot even if you have the best one being OOP.River is close and i don't know what i think is the best option. Against most aggro players i'd check here to induce a bluff, but against most stations i'd try to get paid by AsXx or whatever they want to call with.

Raising UTG+1 with A9s is not my cup of tea, and c-betting that flop is just gross. Everything else is fine though.

i agree, i check the flop, and bet the turn just like you did. There are a ton of missed draws all sorts of crazy things you lose value from. by betting here, i let them bluff, but then again i didn't read if you had any reads....EDIT: no reads, but if you check you have to call, which sucks when he slowplayed the flush, but if he shovels you are in a stupid spot so I check call, but I am showdown monkey
