I didn't think it succeeded as either a John Woo movie or a Spy movie, it was like the worst of both genres. It might be because I had huge hopes for the movie, 'cause I was in the middle of a huge John Woo kick at the time, and the movie fell short of my expectations. That being said, I really liked Emilio Estevez in 1, and I'm sad that he d ie d. I also liked the gum bomb in 1. The helicopter / chunnel scene ruined the movie for me however.
