I know you need two cards to make a flush, but what about this hand for a straight? Im sorta rusty on omaha but im pretty sure its the same rule. the ace and 6 are two cards that make up two different straights which causes them to be irrelevant to the hand...i think

Yup, you can't make a 6-card straight which means your A6 is useless here.
