Otter 0
Both players involved in this hand just moved here to this table. I elect not to re-raise preflop against two because they are both pretty commited, but I do plan on calling if UTG limp-shoves as its not much more. I tend to play JJ like a mid pair, get in cheap and judge where I am afterwards. Flop is very scary but I did some quick numbers and even against AQ i'm still 34% to fill up. Hand as played seems pretty basic. I'm sure I don't have the best hand at this point, but do I commit MP3 and ride the cards?PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (9 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)saw flop|saw showdownMP1 (t9560)MP2 (t14322)MP3 (t9154)CO (t7105)Hero (t27405)SB (t5398)BB (t10425)UTG (t20073)UTG+1 (t4690)Preflop: Hero is Button with J , J . 1 fold, UTG+1 calls t600, 2 folds, MP3 raises to t2400, 1 fold, Hero calls t2400, 2 folds, UTG+1 calls t1800.Flop: (t7600) J , T , K (3 players)UTG+1 bets t2240 (All-In), MP3 calls t2240, Hero...And what are we doing in different situations? Metternich 0
reraise all in, your stack is big enough to have a lot of play left even if you lose and you're never worse than a 3-1 dog here. Also, there are a ton of hands that you're crushing, so get it in.
Poker Addict 0
Yeah, I am putting MP3 in for the rest of his chips right here. If he had you covered, I might call as we are at the bubble.
throwemaway 0
Hero.. gets his chips in as fast as humanly possibleYou played JJ for set value essentially here..You hit a set...Get them in
silkyjonson 1
Move him in preflop, its ok just calling with JJ usually when deep but in this instance just move the guy in you don't want someone with kq in the bb calling cheaply and outflopping you and you dont want the raiser with 88 to be able to fold on a scary flop or if an A flops you dont know where you are at. So make it easier on yourself and put the raiser in. As played insta shove, dont ever fold and dont ever give a free card incase he has jq or some other trash.

As played, get it all in.If it were on or close to the bubble I would reraise but not push preflop
MovingIn 0
Villain really should have shoved PF if he was going to play at all, and he has a wide range here, especially with the awful limp/call. It looks like villain maybe paired something or has two pair, or may not even have that and came to his senses and realized he's DOA if he doesn't win this pot, and is hoping he has fold equity with his shove (lol, I know). Either way, with a flopped set, you're crushing anything other than AQ or KK (and villain probably would've open shoved those), so get your chips in.
Kaveros 0
All my money is insta shoved into the pot.
Snake Plissken 0
I don't hate your PF play, but in this particular situation, I think it's better to push pre. But, fair enough, you decided to call and you are up for a flop decision. You hit the set but the flop isn't ideal. However, push. I'm not folding here. You might as well be up against AK, AA, QQ, TT or worse.

MP3 after pre/post flop calls only has 4600 left behind. I insta ship it in!!!!!!!!!

MP3 after pre/post flop calls only has 4600 left behind. I insta ship it in!!!!!!!!!I just had a feeling that I was up against AQ and an A-x flush draw. Even if they had turned them both over and showed me what they had before they pushed, I'd be shoving my chips in the middle. My questions weren't really for this hand in particular, what I'm wondering is in a different situation what people are doing with this hand.I also don't really like my move pf, with the stacks how they are I should have pushed. Against larger stacks is when I tend to just call and reevaluate after the flop. After the hand was over, I thought different scenarios would change my decision after the flop, and wanted some discussion on the hand.Against larger stacks, prebubble bursting, etc, etc.As played, other than just calling pf, I don't feel anything is wrong with the line i took. Results:Turn: (t24344) (3 players, 2 all-in)River: (t24344) (3 players, 2 all-in)Final Pot: t23248UTG+1 has Qc Ac (straight, ace high). MP3 has 9h Ah (flush, ace high). Hero has Js Jc (full house, jacks full of kings). Outcome: Hero wins t24344. As far as the read goes, after the action on the flop I called out what they had to my roommate who was playing in a different tournament. Just played too many hands at this level it seems.
