Do you guys ever push when you are all but guaranteed to be chopping? Does it create some FE and/or gain you money on the off chance you are ahead or is the rake going to kill you and make it not worth if you are called?Example:Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)SB ($10.95)BB ($10.55)Hero ($25)MP ($34.25)CO ($25)Button ($25.75)Preflop: Hero is UTG with ad.gif, td.gif. Hero raises to $0.85, MP calls $0.85, CO calls $0.85, 3 folds.Flop: ($2.90) ac.gif, 6d.gif, 6h.gif(3 players)Hero bets $2, MP folds, CO raises to $4, Hero calls $2.Turn: ($10.90) 6c.gif(2 players)Hero checks, CO bets $3, Hero calls $3.River: ($16.90) ts.gif(2 players)Hero checks, CO checks.Final Pot: $16.90Should I be raising the turn or betting the river? Thanks.

Nobody ever folds an ace there. Ever. It's fine. If he's bluffing, let him keep bluffing. If you're chopping, you don't care whether or not he bets. The odds that he's got a 2nd best hand that he'd call a bet or raise with are really really slim.If he's got quads, you'll lose less.

is there any value in a minbet hoping for a timeout?
