There is a good chance he has the NFD with two pair. I like the way you played it. I am not very happy getting it in with a set of fours tho

Looks good, only because a 40/15's not going to be limping aces or kings there. Generally in a 5-way limped pot, you don't want to stack off w/bottom set though.Actually what looked good was the not folding part. I still think repotting the flop is better than a flat/call. Remember, very very few people are capable of raise/folding. Don't give him a chance to get away from AK if a scare card comes on the turn.

I was hoping some of the newer guys that have been posting on here would have chimed in. I thought this was fairly standard and just a cooler anyway...he had KK -- didn't expect it since he didn't raise preflop. In a vacuum, I like the check/call flop, check/raise turn (planning on c/r any non club turn) since he has to bet any turn that hits.

Before reading results, I was going to say I didn't like getting all in wiht bottom set but I really don't see how to get away from it. In the lower limit PLO that I play I commonly limp with a ragged AA/KK or single suited hand. I do that because hitting my set is about all I have to go on with the hand. Probably a leak for me but I usually only do that with what I feel are pretty loose games. What kind of hand are you putting him on if you are raising all in on a non club turn?

I think bet folding this flop is the best play, because we are usually either crushed or slightly ahead of some type of combo draw like QcJcThXh. The only hand we are way ahead of is a naked AK or a stone bluff. If you think he's got either of those, reraise the flop. As played, I would lead the turn as you could very possibly have 235x out of the BB and just hit. giving AKxx, QJTx a chance to fold

If AKxx or QJT have made it to the turn, why do we want to give them a "chance to fold"? Since they raised the flop, we know 100% they have to bet the turn, and we can trap them in for all their money when we're ahead 70/30ish.

Why does villian have to 100% bet the turn? If he had a hand like that QJT or something or flushing, does his flop raise not induce a turn check from you? Especially since you are out of the blind and more than likely not be very strong? Almost like a free card play since he has position?Does anyone attempt this move?

If I'm the villain, I'm expecting you to c/c with a set that you liked well enough on the flop to call my raise. So, I'm checking behind with a non-made hand. meh I dunno. I think your line is fine, and I think you can pop the turn just as well though.

I guess that is OK if you know he is going to bet, but I really don't think it's 100%. If I had QJT, I'd gladly take a free card here. Why risk giving a draw a free card? If you lead 2/3 pot can you fold to a shove here getting about 2.5-1? I would, holding the 4th nuts at the time.
