Hey everyone...I'm curious as to the political views held by everyone hear on the message board. I'm not doing this to start arguments, I'm just curious. Thanks.

You don't think that people who consider themselves conservative/republican or liberal/democrat have chosen for themselves? Some have, some haven't, but I get tired of hearing people say that. I can consider myself a republican and not agree with everything the party stands for, but I'm still conservative. Same for liberals/democrats.

genu-INE liber-AL(did I mention that the liberals/progressives have always/will always win? you know, ending slavery, ending segregation, women's sufferage, same sex marriage [trust me]. When you look back, it's all so obvious...)
...and he should proceed in such a manner, tempered by prudence and humanity, so that too much trust may not render him imprudent nor too much distrust render him intolerable.

I don't like the labels. Too simple. We have too many groups out there like Gay Republicans to South Park Liberals.I think an online test like this is a good way to go. It's a well regarded and easy to use test.

Republican and Democrat meant different things back during the slavery times than they do today, just to fill you in on some of your misconceptions.

I'm a liberal, who is so embarrassed with the current state of the Democratic party that I probably wouldn't even affiliate myself with them if it weren't for the anonimity afforded me by this message board. IcePS- Did everyone see what Christian Coalition founder Pat Robertson said to a national TV audience recently? Yeowza

Yeah, my Dad who's a relatively solid republican is definitely starting to get frustrated at the direction the Neocons are taking the party.Robertson basically said that Judges are a bigger threat in the terroristsIn his book he said that judges are a bigger threat then Germany in the 1930s. How insane is that?Oh, and what really takes the cake is that most of the judges they are complaining about were appointed by REPUBLICANSJustice Anthony Kennedy for example, and the judges in the Terri Schaivo case. This is just flat out insanity/stupidity/whatever Republicans have been in power for most of the last two decades+ with going into the 17th year of the last 25Oh, and I definitely agree with the frustration at the Democrats. Basically the party has become spineless.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Vade: Are you familiar with the whole Project for a New American Century thing? Scariest shit ever. If you get a chance, look into it if you haven't already. I'm usually reasonable about politics, but the neocons have to be stopped. It's gotten to the point where England's starting to look attractive...Ice

Far left is basically dead these days. That's the problem.
