Being a mediocre team and winning playoff series' yet NEVER making it to the finals or winning a Cup is not success to me. Success to me is winning the Cup. If you can't win the Cup then you need to do something that increases your chances of winning it again in the future (i.e. draft well, sign quality free agents, good trades). Montreal has been successful in drafting welll and developing their own talent and will soon be a legitimate Stanley Cup contender.The Leafs are a mediocre team...have been for awhile and all signs point to continued mediocrity.
