low limit 7 stud

Any suggestions for a low limit 7 stud book? I'm fairly new to the game, have played a very small amount online and have read the Super System chapter by Chip Reese on it. I've heard good things about Sklansky, Malmuth and Zee's 7 Stud for Advanced Players, but I've also heard that it's mostly applicable for 30/60 games, as opposed to the lower limits.

This is something I'd be interested in as well.Or even better something about online stud. I play great at 1-5 casino stud, and yet online I have all kinds of problems.

The Sklansky one will have you playing pretty tight, but it's still your best bet. Mix that in with what Chip Reese had to say and you should be set

Stud for Advanced Players is the best book I have seen so for because it spends more time explaining the reasons for making plays then the section in Super System. The problem with SS is that it is written for the high limits so if you don't know how to properly apply the information it can hurt more then it helps it lose low limit games. My nly complaint with Stud for Advanced Players is that it doesn't cover odds much. I've seen more Stud odds in Theory of Poker then in SFAP thus far. I would be interested in seeing more odds and mechanics of the game if anyone knows where I can find specifically that kind of information.

I like Roy West's book, but you should also read 7 Card Stud for Advanced Players. I also like Chip's section though.

There's a very helpful section in the Sklansky/Malmuth/Zee book about loose games that applies to low limit well.
